BAT PHRA KEO IN BANGKOK
Wat Phra Kaew is the most important temple of Thailand. It is located in the very center of Bangkok in the innermost part of the Royal Palace and houses the emerald Buddha statue. This statue of Buddha, made of jadeite, has a rich history. After it was discovered in Chiang Rai in 1434, several kings owned the statue.
